Mission
Hidden beneath the 100-year-old floorboards along the historic lower rail tracks of the Anaheim Packing House lies BXCR -- an underground Cocktail and Wine Society.
Authentically outfitted inside a restored 1920s railroad boxcar, the locals-favorite subterranean lounge and hangout features an ever-evolving menu of cocktails and wine from around the world. Part hidden lounge, part underground supporters club, BXCR is a unique cultural crossroads where you can catch your favorite soccer match and escape the ordinary.
THE PACKING HOUSE
1919
Built along a citrus-rail offshoot, the Anaheim Packing House was raised as a shipping center for Orange County’s booming Valencia orange crop — an industry that employed nearly a third of the county.
1948
At its peak the county held some 67,000 acres of orange groves. As the orchards gave way to suburbia, the rails quieted and the great packing house slipped into a long sleep.
2015
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and reborn as a food hall — a warehouse-chic crossroads of two dozen kitchens, live music, and the spirit of the old line.

Down beneath the floorboards, on the lowest rail line, BXCR keeps the boxcar lit — a small piece of that history still in service.
